Civils.

Self-delivery offers certainty.

We’re known for our capability in complex excavations, particularly for deep excavations in central London locations.

We pride ourselves on being industry leaders in delivering complex basement schemes in central London, where we have achieved industry firsts, such as delivering the deepest commercial basement in Europe, and constructing a six storey basement beneath the iconic Claridges’ Hotel – while it remained open and operational.

We’ve also demonstrated our capability on major earthworks schemes including 250,000m3 at Battersea Power Station and 650,000m3 at Heathrow T2B.

Whatever the civil engineering challenge, we have the team and experience to deliver for you, why not get in touch to find out more.

Delivering the
impossible.

The owners of Claridge’s wanted to enhance the services and capacity offered to their guests, but needed more space in order to do it. It’s central London location meant that extending at street level was not feasible, so an alternative solution was found: excavating under the hotel’s Art Deco wing.

We developed a methodology to excavate and construct a five-storey basement underneath Claridge’s – while the five-star hotel remained fully open and with just a single window for access – something our peers believed to be impossible.

Bulk Excavation.

We are known for our capability in complex excavations, particularly for deep excavations.

We undertake the temporary and permanent works design and installation. Better still, we self-deliver utilising our in-house plant, haulage, land engineering and recycling capabilities.

An example of where we’ve done this before includes our work on Heathrow T2, a basement excavation with a plan square area of 450,00m² down to a depth of 10 to 13 meters giving a volume of approximately 600,000m³. That’s no easy feat.
