Electrical Tester.

We are currently recruiting for skilled Assistant Electrical Testers to join our project.

LOCATION: Central London

HOURS: 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday

Our newly created Temporary Site Services team plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects and is a key part of our self-delivery model. As we’re on the cusp of our next big leap, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make your mark in a growing part of our business.
ROLE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections and testing on our temporary site services, ensuring that electrical and other critical systems meet industry standards and comply with BS7671A2 safety regulations. On days not carrying out testing this role will work as an Electrical Field Engineer supporting our various projects.

This role will be Monday to Friday and based across various project sites in central London.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • Conduct thorough testing of temporary electrical installations and other construction services.
  • Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or safety hazards in temporary services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and on-site teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests conducted and results obtained.
  • Perform temporary electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across our various projects.
REQUIREMENTS.
  • Must be a fully qualified approved JIB Electrician.
  • Proven experience testing temporary site services preferably within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues in temporary installations.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams on construction sites.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines.
  • 2391 or 2395 testing certificate with the understanding of NICEIC Procedures.
