KEY ACHIEVEMENTS.

Two-stage excavation for efficient programming
Keeping to an efficient programme was key to ensuring this project’s success. We utilised the already on-site demolition team to continue down to the b2 slab to excavate the backfill. It was an efficient use of resources that saved the programme and provided cost savings. The bulk excavators then completed the remaining excavation down to formation level where piling could begin.

Removing 41 Tonnes of Asbestos
Our in-house Environmental Services Team undertook the controlled removal of 41 tonnes of asbestos. Our HSE-accredited team used chambers and strict logistics to dispose of the material safely and efficiently.

High Scores in the Considerate Constructors Scheme
In a show of dedication to community, Health and Safety, and sustainability, our team was scored 43/45 for their most recent visit. The assessor noted the site’s exceptional organisation, cleanliness, and adherence to industry standards. This includes traffic management and a dedication to workplace wellbeing.

Hosting Ground-Breaking Guests
We were asked to prepare the site for a groundbreaking ceremony for Blackstone’s European HQ with guests of honour, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the US Ambassador to the UK, Jane Hartley and Blackstone Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder Stephen A. Schwarzman. Also in attendance was a more familiar face, our civil engineering apprentice, Ama Atta Mensah.

WE’RE EXCITED TAKE ON THIS COMPLEX AND CHALLENGING PROJECT, ENSURING THE SEAMLESS INTEGRATION OF VARIOUS ACTIVITIES WILL BE KEY TO ITS SUCESS.
