Bankside Yard (West)
Located along the South Bank of the Thames, this master plan will create a significant destination quarter and gateway for the borough of Southwark.
The project reinvigorates a large and under-utilised site between Blackfriars Bridge and the Tate Modern museum, replacing two divisive blocks on either side of the mainline railway (Samson House and Ludgate House) running north-south through London.
Extending its original demolition contract of [Ludgate House], McGee, appointed by client, Native Land is supporting the delivery of this exciting £1bn project. Delivering a fully integrated 4-storey basement over the whole of the site’s footprint, including the RC core for its new 230,000sqft office building.
