HS2 Euston
Top down demolition of the former One Euston & Grant Thornton buildings located on the Euston station forecourt.
HS2 is designed to more than double capacity at Euston, which was originally built in 1968 and currently handles double the 20 million passengers a year it was designed for.
McGee undertook the complex demolition of, One Euston (14 Storeys) and Grant Thornton (9 Storeys). Having first wrapped the towers in an acoustic wrap designed to limit dust and noise and stripping of the interiors, leaving just the shell of the buildings.
