UCLH
Located in the heart of central London, UCLH (University College Hospitals London NHS Foundation Trust), is a new 11 storey hospital.
Due to open in 2021, it will be home to one of only two NHS proton beam therapy (PBT) centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a state-of-the-art surgery service.
As specialist engineering contractor on site, appointed by Bouygues, we excavated one of London’s largest holes at the time. The five floors below ground are set to house the PBT equipment, while the propping undertaken will set the foundations for the six storeys above ground.
