The Team:
Our newly created Temporary Site Services team plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects and is a key part of our self-delivery model. As we’re on the cusp of our next big leap, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make your mark in a growing part of our business.
Position Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 MEP engineers and coordinating temporary services across our projects. You will be responsible for setting workloads, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work is getting done.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of electrical temporary works on construction sites.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure the design and implementation of temporary installations align with project requirements.
- Collaborate with on-site teams, contractors, and project managers to address and resolve any issues related to temporary works.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of temporary works activities, including reports and inspection records.
This is a fulltime permanent role, Monday to Friday and based across various project sites in central London.
About You:
- Proven experience as a supervisor in the construction industry.
- Must hold a JIB Gold card
- Ideally an AP (Authorised Person) or possess equivalent qualifications
- Must have Temporary Services experience.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills
